Meet the Teacher

Nancy's musical training began with private piano lessons while in grade school. Group lessons in vocal and clarinet musicianship continued in junior and senior high school, giving a well-rounded musical background with both individual and group performances.
Mrs. Dygert has 28+ years of performance experience in church ministry, being given opportunity to serve as church organist for 5 years at Bible Baptist Church-Jerome, Idaho, and as church pianist for 23 years at Whitepine Baptist Church-Moscow, Idaho. During this time additional musical training was acquired in the areas of accompaniment and general church musicianship through personal study.
Nancy has 20+ years of teaching experience in the sunday school classroom, and has taught in the private piano studio since the opening of Dygert Piano School in January 2007.
Mrs. Dygert continually seeks to improve her piano and teaching skills through research, study, observation, and workshops. Mrs. Dygert is committed to giving each student quality instruction.
